As college students, we always trying to make wise purchases when we go shopping. We want to make sure we are getting the “best bang for our buck”; meaning we want to see how many uses we can get out of the one peice.

Stripes are one of the prints that we have seen a lot this past summer and it is making it’s way into the fall season. This is one of the cutest little striped cotton dress from one of the local discount stores in NC; I only paid $5 for it (kind of excited about that)!  #frugalfashionistamoment

Here are three ways I plan to make this cute basic dress work for the fall:

Look 1 Sports Fan: This would be a super cute outfit for the school’s homecoming football games or if you’re just going out to a sports bar to watch sports with friends.

Jean Jacket: Old Navy (Roommate’s Closet Steal LOL) (Closet Staple) “B” Hat: Target (Men’s Section) Oxford Sneaker: Target

Look 2 Class Casual: This outfit is best for a go-to class ensemble; you can just throw on the dress, swing your favorite sweater around your arms and pull on your cozy boots. For chilly class days add tights or knee high socks.

Sweater: (Super Old) Target Mocassions: Shoe Trend (NC) (similiar)
